Project completed in Le Havre, France
Seppelec has successfully completed a new syrup clarification project for a customer located in Le Havre, France, delivering a high-performance system designed to meet strict quality standards while offering maximum process flexibility.
The installed solution was engineered as a multi-stage syrup treatment system, capable of processing sugars with color values of up to 1,000 ICUMSA. Thanks to its modular design and configurable process routes, the system can adapt to varying raw sugar qualities and final product requirements.
The syrup clarification system includes the following main process steps:
Each process stage has been designed to ensure stable operation, consistent product quality, and optimized consumption of water, energy, and chemicals.
A key feature of this installation is its preconfigured treatment routes.
Depending on product specifications and raw material quality, different process sequences can be selected and combined. These routes may include ion exchange, activated carbon treatment (granular or powdered), additional filtration stages, or a combination of these steps.
This configurable approach allows the system to deliver optimal clarification, decoloration, and deodorization results while maintaining high operational flexibility.
With this project, Seppelec once again demonstrates its expertise in syrup clarification, sugar decoloration, and multi-stage treatment technologies. The delivered system provides the customer with a robust, flexible, and future-ready solution, capable of adapting to changing production requirements and raw material qualities.
Projects like this underline Seppelec’s commitment to supporting beverage and food producers with tailor-made process solutions that combine performance, reliability, and sustainability.
